S. Leo ChiangDirector / Producer / Writer

Leo Chiang (Director / Producer / Writer) is a filmmaker based in San Francisco and Taipei. His most recent film, ISLAND IN BETWEEN, received an Oscar nomination for Best Documentary Short Film in 2024. His film, OUR TIME MACHINE, played at over 50 film festivals worldwide, winning 10 awards, and was nominated for a News & Documentary Emmy Award and a Gotham Award. In 2020, he directed two episodes of the Peabody Award-winning 5-part PBS series, Asian Americans, which traces the epic history of Asians in the US over the past 200 years.

Leo has been a Sundance-Time Warner Fellow, a Rockwood JustFilms Fellow, and a Co-Chair of New Day Films. He has served as a mentor/trainer for the Hot Docs CrossCurrent Fellowship, the CNEX Chinese Documentary Forum, and the CAAM Fellowship. He is the co-founder of A-Doc, the Asian American Documentary Network, and a documentary branch member of the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences.

 

江松長(製片)為台裔美籍影像工作者,居住於舊金山與台北,其紀錄片作品《高先生到華盛頓》於2012年美國全景紀錄片影展贏得Inspiration Award,他的上一部作品《A Village Called Versailles》曾獲艾美獎提名,並且贏得八個國際獎項,也曾於美國公共電視網的節目Independent Lens播映。江松長的作品曾獲得日舞影展協會紀錄片項目、翠貝卡電影協會、及美國ITVS的資金支持。他同時也是剪接師及攝影師。

江松長擁有南加州大學電影製作的藝術碩士學位
